Purex Clorox 2
🔵 Works on 100 Stains
🔵 Safe for Colors
This new detergent, the Purex Clorox 2 is a stain fighting product that is safely to be used on clothes of all colors without the chance of ruined them. It has a nice clean scent. This particular 45 ounce bottle does up to 24 regular size loads.
I used it on several stains but particularly on kids clothes. I tested even on really old stain which my other detergent while it cleaned the clothes didn’t remove the stain completely or at all. A couple of shirts were test on both old and new stains. I have to admit I was surprised to say an old grass stain did come off after just the one wash using Purex Clorox 2.
This is the first piece of clothing with old grass stain I tested. I was quite impressed with the fighting stain capabilities.
Before/After:
My next test: Keptchup “wiped” on to shirt and left there for about 3 days. Also, an old stain on the should, reddish in color. Possibly a paint or color markers. I was looking for the stain to be gone as well as that not so pretty smell of vinegar that was left behind.
Before:
After:
The old stain didn’t come off all the way but its less noticeable. Both the ketchup stain and odor of vinegar were completely gone!
Kids pants, rolled around the playground, outside, and some doctor’s office. I am pretty unsure where he got them or what they could be.
Before:
After:
All the stains on the pants came off! Even that greenish one that looked and felt like gum. There was no discoloration of the black fabric.
Before/After:
One of our favorites shirts. The stain was small but it was red, like from a permanent red marker we were using to mark a calendar. We didn’t want to bleach the shirt. Glad the red stain came completely out using the Purex Clorox 2 laundry detergent and prevented the colors from fading.
