Minty wanted a new challenge to do, and I wanted a new challenge to do, so I created yet another themed legacy. (There’s not enough already, you know?)
Each generation incorporates a theme meant to help explore the game further. All original legacy challenge terms and conditions apply. Read more below.
GENERATION 1: The Starving Artist
Every legacy has to start somewhere, and this one starts with a tribute to the Starving Artist challenge. Don’t actually starve though. That defeats the purpose of this challenge.
Start in a small house on a big lot. (50x50 or 60x60) It’s a legacy, duh.
Founder cannot have a real job. Must make money through an art skill. (i.e. painting, photography, busking, blogging, inventing, sculpting, street art, writing)
Master two artistic skils. (All musical instruments count as one point.)
Complete an artistic lifetime wish. (i.e. Master of the Arts, Golden Tongue Golden Fingers, Illustrious Author, One Sim Band, Professional Author, Street Credible, Blog Artist)
GENERATION 2: Work Hard, Play Hard
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but Jack and Coke is always good in moderation. This generation is all about mixing careers and social lives.
Reach level 10 of one of the following careers: business, journalism, politics.
Master the charisma skill and have at least ten good/best friends.
Throw at least two parties.
Complete one of the following lifetime wishes: CEO of a Mega Corporation, Star News Anchor, Leader of the Free World, Super Popular.
GENERATION 3: The Empire Strikes Back
Every family has a bad seed, and in this case there’s a Star Wars reference involved. Your Sim doesn’t have to be Darth Vader, but they do have to be evil!
Reach level 10 of the Criminal career.
Complete one of the following lifetime wishes: Possession is Nine Tenths of the Law, Emperor of Evil, Become a Master Thief, Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous
Make at least ten enemies.
Reach a minimum of $100,000 household funds.
GENERATION 4: A Home Away from Home
Phew! Being a child of an evil villain isn’t as easy as it’s made out to be. Your Sim’s ready to see what else is out there and get away from their crazy family for a little while.
Visit each travel location (Egypt, France, China) at least once.
Reach a level three visa in at least one location.
Marry a local from said location. (Must have at last a level two visa to get married.)
Master the skill associated with said location. (Nectar Making - France, Martial Arts - China, Photography [and Snake Charming] - Egypt)
GENERATION 5: Perfect Mind, Perfect Body
Your Sim believes education is essential. (They also believe the Gerbits are the best soccer football team around! Vo Gerbits!)
Attend university and earn two degrees.
Max the Jock influence.
Reach level 10 of the Medical, Science, or Athletic career.
Master the athletic, martial arts, and logic skills.
GENERATION 6: As the Full Moon Rises
Side effects of a full moon may include but are not limited to: dizziness, anxiety, turning into a full-fledged werewolf. Its time to fight off some zombies and explore the Supernatural EP. Seriously, just explore it.
All family members must be born or become Supernatural at some point during this generation. (This mod is suggested.)
Must play with the moon phases on.
Complete any Supernatural lifetime wish. (Alchemy Artisan, Celebrity Psychic, Greener Gardens, Leader of the Pack, Magic Makeover, Master of Mysticism, Mystic Healer, Turn the Town, Zombie Master)
GENERATION 7: The Jack of All Trades
Why be really good at one thing when you can be sort of good at many things? Your Sim believes in trying new things... frequently.
Reach level five of four different careers.
Have children with at least two different partners.
Adopt at least one cat and one dog.
Master at least three skills.
GENERATION 8: The Color of Passion
Your Sim’s parents raised them to always try new things. Somehow, I don’t think this is what they really had in mind.
Have at least four different lovers before settling down.
Complete a romance-related lifetime wish. (Gold Digger, Heartbreaker, Master Romancer)
Master at least one skill to help your Sims in their romantic pursuits. (i.e. painting, cooking, photography, charisma, athletics, nectar making, busking)
GENERATION 9: Fame & Fortune
Money can’t buy happiness, but it sure is more comfortable to drive a convertible than to ride a bicycle. Your Sim wants to live luxuriously in the lime light.
Complete a lifetime wish from Late Night or Showtime. (Also: Rock Star or Celebrity Psychic)
Become a five-star celebrity.
Reach at least $300,000 in household funds.
Master a skill from Late NIght. (mixology, drums, piano, bass)
GENERATION 10: The Perfect Family
You’ve done it! This generation is inspired by a Wishacy. Simply help your Sims live their lives to the fullest.
Complete all wishes rolled by Sims during this generation.
Adopt at least one baby, toddler, or child.
Teach all toddlers their skills; have children and teens reach honor roll.
Reach highest level of any careers worked by heir and spouse.
