“Oh me, oh my.” 

A disembodied voice echoed out from the tree tops. A forest that was pitch black, and yet at the same time brightly illuminated by a moon that was far too bright. Violet trees reached up into the sky like hands reaching for some far off thing they could never obtain. 

In front of her appeared a set of floating gooseberry green eyes and a broad grin of sharp teeth, before the rest of the creature’s body followed. Pale, freckled skin and bright orange hair, accented by a light pink and dark purple pinstriped suit with a heavy scarf that matched the green of his eyes. 

“You look like you could be a tree.”

“How... did you get in here?” 

The Queen approached the young child, held by what could only could be described as an oversized card of hearts. Ragged and full of holes, and only a hole in the neck where a head should have been. 

The throne room was bright, bright enough to see all the similar guards and soldiers that were in - some with missing heads, some with the heads of dolls or horses. The walls were a bright white, almost shining, with a pattern of the suit of cards repeating in an array that would be dizzying should one stare too hard. 

“Are you an outsider?”

“My, my, another outsider? We haven’t had one of those in quite some time.” 

A man with white hair and rabbit ears approached, though he seemed to be walking towards her... upside down. No.. It seemed the road itself was defying gravity, curving into a spiral that he walked through as he approached. As he walked, the checkerboard pattern began to lift the moment his foot stepped off, the red and black colors floating away and disappearing somewhere far into the distance. 

Finally he was right in front of her, and so he extended a hand. “Greetings, outsider. I am Justin.” 

A mere glance over his glance would reveal a faded maroon victorian-era vest, a beige long-sleeved shirt underneath and a matching maroon pair of pants. That was not the interesting part, however. No, the thing that stood out the most was the number of stopped watches, pocketwatches and actual clocks that adorned this outfit. Every single one set to a different time.

“And you are?”

Crossing Nobodies Reality.

Closed Starter for @number13roxas​

A grunt left the blonde Star Guardian as he fired another bolt of magical energy at a skittering void creature. His magic slowly dissolving the small voidling with an angry hissing noise. A heavy sigh escaping him as he lowered his hand, his white and gold gauntlet thrumming with the latent power it just expended, the floating gem giving off a soft cyan glow. He let out a displeased groan as he counted the voidling bodies around him, only five were there. The First Star had informed him that at leave Nine creatures of the void had traveled across the thin barrier between the two worlds.

“Meaning I have more work to do...” he mumbled softly to himself, brushing off his white and blue uniform with a soft sigh. He paused however whenhe heard an odd hiss followed by an unnatural chitter behind him. Figuring it was another Voidling the blonde swiftly turned around, his arm poised up as his other hand drew back conjuring his plasma-like magic to his finger tips, imitating the motions one would go through to pull back a bows drawstring his magic glowing threateningly. 

But what he saw made him freeze, it wasn’t some voidling?

It was a small humanoid-like black creature, with bright yellow eyes and an odd pair of wiggling antennas on its head, what kind of creature was it, could it have been native to this world? He didn’t know, and he wouldn’t simply kill it outright, not without finding out if it was hostile or not. he lowered his gauntlet and slowly approached the creature, ready to use his magic to blink away if necessary.

The small creature, unknown to Ezreal, was rather obviously a Heartless, and it could sense the light within the Star Guardian’s heart, and the instant the male lowered his gauntlet, it leaped at him to strike, claws outstretched as in inhuman hissing growl escaped its throat.
