Rapunzel Corona - 17 - 7th year - Ravenclaw - Prefect - Member of North’s Army - FC: Amanda Seyfried
Rapunzel was kidnapped as a baby. She was originally born to Primrose and Thomas Corona, a respectable family in the muggle world. She was kidnapped by a witch. This witch was known as Madame Gothel. She had lived in the muggle world since she left Hogwarts. She brought a magical flower with her. This magic flower could reverse aging, cure illnesses, and heal injuries if she sang a specific song. Her parents had posted flyers, asking people if they could help treat the sickly baby. Gothel was won over by the amount of many that they would pay the person that cured her. She brought them the flower and used it as an herb, putting it in the child’s bottle. She later kidnapped the healthy child and locked her in their house.
Gothel raised her in the muggle world and went on many trips to the wizarding world. She left Rapunzel locked in their large house. Warning her that if she ever left their house, someone would try to take her hair.
The police took her away after her mother left the ten year old alone in the house, saying she was neglecting her. Her parents recognized her and took her home, telling her that they were her real parents and that Gothel kidnapped her. Rapunzel was old enough and smart enough to notice how much she looked like them.
A year later, she got a letter from Hogwarts. Upon arriving, she was sorted into Ravenclaw, the hat struggling between Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.
She noticed Merida sitting alone at her table and immediately befriended her, interested in her fieryness, the two became best friends.
She also met Jack when they got off of the boat to Hogwarts, they became close friends and Rapunzel and him started teasing each other, jokingly flirting with each other once they hit fifteen.
In her 6th year, Gothel crept into her dorms and tried to make her join Pitch and pretend to be pureblood so she wouldn’t get killed. Rapunzel, still filled with betrayal by the woman refused, and she disappeared. Rapunzel later joined North’s army.
Merida - Best friend, Rapunzel was confused as to why the young girl was sitting by herself, so she abandoned her house table to sit with her. The two became fast friends, though with very different personalities. Rapunzel being the caring young and creative young Ravenclaw and Merida being the brave and bold Gryffindor.
Jack - Good friend, Jack's over protective of her and she understands, she's a muggleborn, and with Pitch attacking mudbloods, everyone's protective over her. She doesn't, however, understand why they treat her like she's defenseless, helpless. She's the straight A student. Jack's the most protective over her.
Hiccup - Close friend, Hiccup and Rapunzel have a lot being in common, both being kind and patient and and creative. They both like reading and often talk about books with each other, had she not liked Jack, and if she didn’t know that Merida liked him, she probably would have started forming crush on him.
Anna - Book buddy, Anna and Rapunzel are close. Rapunzel shows Anna all of her favorite books. The two are also alike in that they are both muggleborn. Anna is her Ravenclaw buddy and almost sister.
