Before you forget | Elsa, Eric & Anna
"Elsa Elsa Elsaaa, I wanna play!" The small princess spotted her elder sister and a friend together on the other side of the ballroom's floor. She scurried along as fast as her little legs could carry her across the glossy, wooden panels. She slipped over a few times, but always managed to get herself back up again and giggled on her surprisingly long journey to where Elsa and the boy were. Elsa always seemed to have lots of different and interesting friends in Anna's eyes. They were all fellow royalty, of course - but Anna was far too young to understand that. She would always admire their sparkly frocks and the way they would speak so gently and full of grace to one another. Unlike herself.
"Ellsaaaa!" She exclaimed in a fit of giggles, skidding over to them both with little ginger pigtails bouncing behind. "Anna!" Elsa turned and spotted her sister just in time, before she slipped on her fallen socks. Elsa chuckled into her hand and turned to her friend. "Eric, this is Anna, my little sister- And Anna, this is Eric, my friend." Anna took one look at the boy - and immediately hid behind Elsa, clinging onto her skirt with a gasp.
"Uh... Hi?" Eric was pretty miffed at what just happened with the younger girl. Was she scared? Why would she be scared? Elsa was attempting to contain her giggles and looked around herself to face Anna, but she kept moving around as Elsa did too, and now the pair were spinning around eachother until Anna stopped a little off-balance. "Spinny head!" Anna bared a gappy grin when her head seemed to stop spinning. But, once she caught a glimpse of the blue-eyed boy again, she quickly clasped onto the fabric of her sister's skirt and hid, once again. Elsa chuckled and shrugged to the boy, before trying to hug her little sister next to her. "Annaa, what's wrong? Eric's nice, I promise." But her little sister shook her head and buried herself into her side with a muffled wail.
"Nooooooooooooo." Eric picked up his toy boat from the now-puddle on the ground and looked at Elsa nervously. "S-Should I go?" Elsa shook her head and smiled. "Noo, you don't have to go, Anna's just shy, is all." Which... Was something she never thought she'd have to say before. Anna was always so hyperactive and always demanding to have fun in a playful way. But... Maybe it was because Anna was so young and the only other male species she'd ever seen was their father. She would be starting school soon, so she'd have to get used to seeing Eric and other boys by then.
Anna continued to wail into the skirt, taking a peep every now and again with her wide eyes. After a few seconds, she finally emerged, shuffling her feet under her. "I'm... Anna." She mumbled and looked down at the floor the whole time. Eric wasn't much different, also mumbling his reply with a confused expression written on his face. "...Hi." Elsa laughed at the two of them and rubbed her fingers on her palms. "Don't worry, I can make her speak." She turned back to the small redhead with a smirk. "Hey Anna, wanna build a snowman?" The little girl's face lit up immediately and she began to jump on the spot with a squeal. "Do the maagiic!!" She exclaimed. "Have you seen Elsa's magic... Eric? BEST MAGIC!" She grabbed Eric's hand in a hope he'd start bouncing on the spot with her. He didn't, but the weight of Anna's jumping pulled his arm down.
Elsa's hands began to spark with a shimmering clear blue, forming into the white powder as she grinned and the other two children looked on in awe. Alas, the fun couldn't last forever - not in the Castle of Arendelle at least. Their father had seen through the doorway and walked over to the small group. "Elsa, I think it's time Prince Eric went home." He said in a firm tone. The two girls frowned and Anna ran over to her father, shaking her head. "But dadddy we wanna play!" He knelt down to his daughter's level and patted her head. "Not now, Anna. The king and queen will be worried." He smiled, but nodded over to Eric to grab his things so he could walk him out. Anna flopped down on the floor and Elsa waved to her friend and sat on the floor with her sister too.
"Bye, Eric."
