Christmas, surely the most insufferable holiday of all. All the more so since Robin crossed the town line with his maid Marian and son. Since his departure, she had held onto hope that Henry and she could find the author, that he could write her a happy ending. Only that hope was dimming with each passing day, perhaps it were true -- reformed or not she would always be known as a villain and villains never got such luxuries as happy endings. As much as Regina tried to move on from her past mistakes, they were forever haunting her.
Snow and Charming had politely asked her to have dinner with them all in their cramped little loft, only she knew it were a pity invite. Belle too had been invited and well, that confirmed her suspicions -- pity party.
Offering a bottle of her home brewed apple cider along with an apple pie, the cider was more so for herself. If she had to endure this night, she would need the help of alcohol. Giving her pleasantries the reformed queen sat out of the way -- well, the best she could considering the cramped space they were all confined in. Brown eyes stared down blankly at the liquor she was now swirling around in her glass. Lost in her own thoughts, she somehow managed to block out the background noise of those around her. In that moment, she wished for nothing more than to be tucked up in bed wallowing in her own self pity. Only Snow White wouldn’t allow such a thing, her optimistic personality as sickening as always.
