“Okay, so I said we were going to go dancing, but then I had some drama with my sister. But I’m here now.” He said, as soon as she opened the door. “Would you like to accompany me and go ballroom dancing?” Theo wasn’t sure if now was the right time with the peacher coming out, but he remembered the conversation he had with Beth about it, and wasn’t sure her take on the whole thing, especially with it emerging again. “If not, we can totally go another time.”

“You said your shift would be over five minutes ago,” Maddie groaned from behind the counter not caring the customer that Beth was dealing with could hear her. “People here know that there was a magical invention called e-books right?” This time she looked right in the ladies face as she tapped her card paying for her purchase and thankfully ended the long line up she had to endure. “Come on, let’s get out of here before anyone else feels inspired to buy something obsolete.”

There was no use in trying to deny it anymore-- he was fucking plastered, and.. he was pretty sure he lost the key to get in his apartment, so he gave up. Jude sat outside the door to his place and started to bang his head against the door, a small groan escaping him. ‘’Hmm, ‘m fuckin’.. whattya’ ean, i’m a shitty person?’’ He mumbles, lowering his head into his hands, paying no attention to the sound of the door from next door opening.

Maddie had never been camping before and so far not a fan and didn’t know why Harlow was insistent that the girl comes along. Somehow though, here she was out in this wooded area and her mood improved slightly when she saw her best friend. “Hey,” she playfully nudged her with her hip. Maddie's interest in the event improved with Beth presence but quickly soured with the texts from Dom. She had texted him not to fire them off, it had to be pretty common knowledge that fireworks are bullshit and can be triggering. But he did give off himbo vibes- so what else could she expect. “Some dude said he has fireworks, so if I end up in fight tonight- just know I warned him not to pop that shit off,” Maddie shoved her phone in her back pocket. “Let’s get drunk.”
