My Navy discussion with my dad.
If most of you don't know I'm african and let me tell you african parents don't play especially my dad. I can't blame him, I wasn't the best at school and haven't really done things the way he wanted. I felt like I never pleased him. I've been trying to bring up that I wanna join the navy for a long ass time with him but he kinda put it off. But recently I know getting my shit together showing him the effort I'm willing to put in to get into the navy is the only way to convince. So friday I stepped the fuck up and I brought everything to him, my plans with school, what I want from the navy, an how I'm gonna do it. It was the greatest convo i've ever had with my dad he seemed to listen, he was genuine and i would say seemed to believe in me. It made me rwalize my dad believes in me and loves me,...... he was just waiting for me to believe in myself, make decisions on what I wanted and finish it out.I have a goal and with support of all the people I love I'm gonna get there!
