whY asK Why

I'm not a professional dancer by any means, but my moves aren't limited to the Robert Palmer girl moves, either.  Certainly my favorite type of dancing is choreographed and on stage in a musical.

But that doesn't answer the question posed above.

I dance because I can't help but move when I hear music that moves me.  It's hard to sit still at my desk or in my car.  I can't help but bebop through the grocery store or Target.  Luckily, it's never embarrassed my 16 year old daughter.  She bebops along with me...sometimes we bebop arm-in-arm down an aisle ;)  I've even tap danced through a Five Below!  I can't help myself, folks! 

I dance because I love to.

I dance because I have to.

I dance because the music makes me.

I dance because I want to.

1. What does your name mean?

I think Madeleine means 'Woman of Magdalene'-something biblical like that :) 

2. If you had one wish that would come true, what would it be?

I'd wish for my brother's autism to fuck off 

3. Favourite fictional character EVER?

Atticus Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird. He is a seriously brilliant character 

4. Justin Bieber or One Direction?

Urgh neither. Can I say that? If I have to pick....One Direction, purely because Little Things is rather sweet 

5. Favourite Holiday?

Christmas :) 

6. Your biggest fangirl moment?

When I met Jacqueline Wilson about 10 years ago. Tears all round when she signed my Tracy Beaker book

7. Favourite singer/band?

It changes all the time, but one band I constantly love is Fall Out Boy 

8. Best Birthday?

my 16th

9. What does the last text you got say?

10. Favourite hobby?

I used to really love drawing and painting, but art A Level squashed that love out of me. Probably acting and performance

Because I didn't know what it was and I was curious :)
