I'm not a professional dancer by any means, but my moves aren't limited to the Robert Palmer girl moves, either. Certainly my favorite type of dancing is choreographed and on stage in a musical.
But that doesn't answer the question posed above.
I dance because I can't help but move when I hear music that moves me. It's hard to sit still at my desk or in my car. I can't help but bebop through the grocery store or Target. Luckily, it's never embarrassed my 16 year old daughter. She bebops along with me...sometimes we bebop arm-in-arm down an aisle ;) I've even tap danced through a Five Below! I can't help myself, folks!
I dance because I love to.
