We laser pew pew in Let's Play Closure Episode 8
The confusion is real in Let's Play Closure Episode 7
I'm just saying if I stopped buying games from the steam sale right now I would be pretty content. So far I've bought Papers Please, Closure, Skyrim, Tomb Raider, and The Wolf Among Us which is a nice mix of causal & more involved games. (CLOSURE WAS SUCH AN UNEXPECTEDLY GOOD BUY, CHECK IT OUT IF YOU LIKE GAMES LIKE PORTAL) The only things I'm really looking out for now is Civilization 5, Bioshock, and maybe an MMO. Might buy Fallout: New Vegas if it's reasonably priced but it's not a priority and I'm really interested in indie games if you guys have any recommendations.
Quick Play of Closure, the awesome indie puzzle platformer.
Closure
So I've been super addicted to the game Closure for about a week now. It's so freaking amazing. The whole game was created by a group of three guys over a span of three years and it's simply incredible. I have sooo much respect for these guys.
The game's a puzzle platformer that uses the concepts of light and darkness. If you can't see something, then it doesn't exist. The puzzles get really challenging, but the game is very forgiving about deaths or mess ups. The art and music are both fantastic, and the tutorial is the most elegantly done tutorial I think I've ever seen. While the story is only hinted at throughout the game, the imagery and feel of the game allows the player develop their own theories about what happened.
If you have a ps3 I seriously recommend you try out the demo for Closure. The full game is only $15 which is very reasonable for the number of hours you can get out of the game!
So, seriously guys, go play it.
(Also if you don't have a ps3, I believe there's been talk of them releasing a pc version of the game. Nothing's been set yet, though. In the mean time, try out the original flash game! http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/480006)
