I draw Darkstar with a pair of pearl earrings a LOT so I’m going with that being a staple of her outfits.

When Drusilla first visited Man’s World in the 1940s, she adopted the popular style of dress for young girls then after some boys made comments about her Amazonian clothes in a malt shop and pointed out how the other girls there dressed. I attribute this less to caring what men think (since she wasn’t socialized to) and more to wanting to fit in with her female peers (which would make sense) Also, it probably helps with being less conspicuous, since no one is supposed to know she’s Wonder Girl or that Diana is Wonder Woman. So my headcanon is that upon returning to Man’s World in current era (which mine has, still at the same late adolescent stage) she adopts the style of dress currently most popular for teen girls. . . . whatever the fuck that is, I don’t know.
