What is Morningstar in Eclipse Phase?
Morningstar Constellation is the faction name for the free commonwealth of Venus. They voted to succeed from the Planetary Consortium, for a bunch of reasons. Main one being a dispute of terraforming. The PC wanted to turn it into a second Earth, which would destroy the Aerostats(cloudcities). The majority of Venusians wanted to create a unique cloud biosphere; with floating plants, an various flying animals.They are kind of a middle ground between the PC and the Titanian Commonwealth in terms of politics. They still use an old economy(Money) but they are not as oppressive as the PC.
