I hate how my mind plays tricks on me sometimes.

Saw a post on LinkedIn by an ex-coworker that I had a huge crush on back in the day. Proceeded to dream about that workplace and said coworker.

Woke up in the middle of the night longing for a past that was not a happy time in my life, longing for a place that was not good for me, and a person that was never mine.

I am this close to sending him a message on LinkedIn to ask how he's doing. I haven't spoken to him in almost four years, and even though we were friendly we were never really friends.

Just... can someone make this stop? Please?
