It’s really his own fault for insisting on driving up such a beat up hunk of crap like his truck, but finding himself back at the shop for yet another round of repairs that he doesn’t want to pay for-- and that Damien has explicitly forbidden him from doing himself, insisting he see a “professional” as if anyone knows his truck better than him-- is... incredibly annoying. And boring, considering he’s already been sitting here for a good three hours waiting, and there’s only so many old episodes of weird antique shows that one man can sit through.
As much as he definitely loves weird antique shows.
Tired of feeling cooped up inside the shop’s little waiting area, he wanders outside instead to observe the mechanics at work, ignoring obvious safety rules and regulations by walking up close and personal as if he’s just allowed to be doing this. As far as he’s concerned he is, and everyone is either not paying enough attention or just doesn’t seem to care enough about their job to say much about it. Whatever works. There’s one man who’s clearly working on a personal project, though-- it’s obvious in the level of extra care that’s given to the bike he seems to be tuning up that it’s something well loved. As it should be... it’s a lovely machine, walking up with his arms crossed over his chest to better appreciate it.
“Hey, that’s a real nice bike.” Looks great for all terrain... that’s an important quality to have. “How fast can this baby go, do you think?”
