Grind it Roll It by @Cloud9urbitch featuring a fire verse from Aviel Ben Yamin. Make sure to check this out and give it a share
Smokey D, Donavon Banks, and Taye Levell (collectively known as Cloud9Krew) have their minds set on becoming a fixture in today's music industry. Despite their Los Angeles origins, the rap trio creates music that reflects a decidedly PDX lifestyle. This is evident in Cloud9Krew's stoner anthem "Grind It, Roll It," which boasts a marijuana-induced vibe and a scorching feature verse from frequent collaborator and PDX mainstay Aviel. On the trunk-rattling "For My City (Do It), Donavon Banks waxes about his love for his hometown, all the while showcasing a dexterous flow that effortlessly shifts from melodic to rapid-fire raps. Smokey D's latest single, "Melo," a remix of the late Lil Snupe's track of the same name, depicts both the young spitter's hood struggles and his aspirations for a better life. As the song's memorable hook asserts, Smokey is "Just a nigga from the ghetto/ but now I'm in the game and I'm balling like I'm 'Melo."
With a burgeoning fan-base and continued collaborations with Aviel in the works, Cloud9Krew is determined to become a force to be reckoned with in the region. The young collective would serve as a valuable addition to any show's roster due to both their song-making and live show capabilities. Without a doubt, Cloud9Krew is a group to watch closely in the upcoming months
