There’s something pretty about sunsets. No, not pretty- pretty isn’t enough to describe it. It’s something like ethereally soft or a weird little feeling that makes you feel all mushy inside.

It’s even better when the sky is tinted in pink and orange clouds that pass, oh so terribly slow- and they contrast against that light blue sky.

Sunsets are even more breathtaking in spring, I suppose, with birds chirping and flying back home, after months of hiding from the bone-chilling winter and the playful laugh of children running around.

Sunsets are even better with you, my love. I don’t know why but they are; like everything is going to be alright. Because you don’t seem to mind the sweaty hand that found its way into yours. Or the blubbering and aimlessly chat. Or the deep one, where fears and secrets and hopes and dreams are shared. You don’t care about my chapped lips against yours, alongside wandering hands and shortness of breath; back tightly pressed against the gingham red and white picnic cloth.

I guess that what I’m trying to say is that sunsets feel safe with you, like home. Because my love, you are my home.

Time-lapse of clouds I thought looked super cool! The lower clouds are moving very quickly and the higher level clouds hardly move at all and it just looks mesmerizing!
