Carpet scoops up the boy, then levitates off the ground.

The child’s eyes widen as Carpet began to levitate. “Y-you’re floating. L-like a bird!” This was crazy! Interesting but crazy! “How are you doing that?”

There’s no verbal response as the man gestured to the now open bed. All Mowgli could do was glance between the furniture and the man in question. The only ‘bed’ he’d really ever known was the ground or trees so this contraption had him perplexed. "Is this how it works?" the boy inquired as he sat down feeling rather surprised at the sensation of the mattress. "It feels soft and hard at the same time. Do you use it like this?" Down the boy went planting his face straight into the pillow obviously not understanding how they worked. "...This isn't right is it?"
