Dunno if this has been done before but....
AU where Cloudpaw escapes the twolegs on his own, gets lost and then is roped into rebuilding Skyclan with Skywatcher.
Takes longer than it did for Firestar, because Cloudpaw didn't know where he was going, wasn't an official warrior, and had to train almost everyone himself.
By the end of it he's a seasoned (not senior, no where close. But past a young) warrior and the clan expects him to take up the mantle of being leader.
Cloudpaw may not have believed in Starclan himself, but he knows it's a major part of being in a clan. He didn't expect to actually meet Skyclans ancestors, he thought those dreams about Cloudstar were just dreams.
Anyway just another random idea I had.
