Goodwife Bad, Goodwife Good, and Goodwife Neutral. they are each other’s wives. they bought a mobile micronation when they retired; wherever their picket fence comes to rest is theirs, and right of imminent domain just barely makes up for not having enough room to scratch their asses. “Wife Country” can currently be found in a closet inside its own embassy, owing to an impulsive tri-anniversary dare.

Pinch Hitter, the Clouncillor representing a coalition of the closest moons to the imperial planetoid. known for being a big fan of apocalypses and armageddons of all stripes, she keeps ordering votes on whether or not they should all crash their moons into the Emperor in a desperate attempt to kill him/get his attention, but she keeps getting voted down. not out of any self-preservation instinct on the part of her peers, just because they don’t like her very much.

Duke Poorly, heiress-Clouncillor of a remarkably unremarkable moon. colluders and lobbyists are directed to Duke Poorly’s shitty little quarters on the Clouncil satellite as soon as they arrive, for she makes all her money off bribes, which she’ll accept in any form and in any amount from anyone. often she forgets exactly who has bribed her to do what, which leads to awkward post-vote debriefings and many requests to her off-moon PayFoe account for refunds.

Clout von Smokes, the only marotte to have held a seat on the lunar council. she won her constituent’s hearts with a combination of rosy-cheeked good humour, appealing but realistic campaign promises, and lots and lots of money. von Smokes had a knack for dodging the mud slung by her opponents, and for steering the unruly Council through the daily nonsenses of clownpolitik. 5 days after her appointment, inter-departmental leaks revealed that the moon she had run for election on never existed. in the end, members of her own imaginary party in the dreamrealms pressured her out of office.

Who is this gorgeous figure? The emperor??

this is a rare photograph indeed. taken around the time of the Emperor’s third marriage, it depicts the late Sonny Scroggins moments before xer erasure from the clowntime timeline. Scroggins was a trusted Minister Of Secrets and mayor of Boytown, a prestigious lunar colony. the sheer amount of secrets xe was keeping, acquiring and otherwise privy to far exceeded any other minister of xer class before or since, and as we all know, the secrets of clowns are not easily contained. xer dual-pronged headwear engorged by data of the most forbidden kind, Scroggins met xer end attempting to divine yet more secrets from the Unknowable beings. the last picture on record (these records being those of other time-displaced clowns who are the only ones still aware that Scroggins ever existed) of the ex-mayor shows several elements of interest. item 1: Scroggins’ eyes, even more lifeless than a regular clowns’ eyes as xe stares into and contemplates item number 2: the distinct visual distortion caused by the presence of an Unknowable within the frame. items 3 and above concern the infant that Scroggins holds, its unusual serenity and confidence despite the situation, and where in the hell Scroggins got it from, considering that there is no baby-stage in the clown lifecycle. faction: Untimely

Senator Curdles, a member of the Lunar Council and ambassador of Clownmoon 120. she is a no-nonsense type, and finds all the royal decrees requiring mandatory nonsense very irritating. a known proponent of comedic realism, she is well-disliked by the other council members for always keeping meetings going another fifteen minutes and constantly mentioning how her clownfish are doing. clown politics is a relatively recent invention, a complete mess and mostly for show, so the main job of the council is to regulate illegal jokes and try to keep tabs on the most notorious Bastards. Curdles own son contracted Bastardism a few years previously, but in the end she is just pleased that he made something of himself instead of becoming a wastrel or getting into humorous surrealism like he had always threatened. in her spare time she is the president of the Jinks Leggins fanclub. faction: Clouncillor
