Post Clover leaving, Kris does in fact want to find and properly thank Clover for saving them. It’s the same for Susie, Noelle, and Ralsei. Each wanting to thank Clover.

Clover meanwhile… their life goes back to normal. That world was “put on pause” so to speak, so no one noticed Clover’s week long disappearance. Cause for them it wasn’t even a millisecond. Clover remembers the other world, but doesn’t hold it close. Doesn’t hold it dear. For them it was business, not a vacation. They couldn’t enjoy it. They had to save Kris. Then stop an apocalypse.

OOO does the fun gang ever meet dr!clover in college and get reminded of them??? Or think that it is ut!clover?? Or do they not?

So I also have a Clover in Deltarune AU-

for context, there’s two Clover’s in this. DR!Clover is in College with Asriel. UT!Clover was eeby deebied. DR!Clover ain’t important so when I say Clover I mean UT Clover.

The idea is that the player created a timeloop to avoid getting banished. Gaster grows annoyed by this, and recalls how in the last Genocide loop in UT, Clover killed the player.

So Gaster summons Clover, asking Clover to get rid of the player possessing Kris. Clover agrees. Gaster also mentions that once Clover leaves, EVERYONE will forget about them.

Clover spends most- if not all of their time- focusing on getting closer to the fun gang, at least until they can be alone with Kris to Justice Beam the player out of them. That doesn’t happen until either late chapter 6, or early chapter 7- basically just before the roaring. There is a scene in this fictional chapter 5, when Kris is soulless and the soul isn’t around, where Clover does admit that they’re not from this world. How they’re only here to save Kris. How once they leave everyone will forget about them. And Susie and Kris, and Noelle and Ralsei, all state that they would never forget Clover.

Clover stays to help end the apocalypse, and then leaves. Expecting everyone to forget.

Except…

Kris…

Susie…

Noelle…

Ralsei…

…

They still remember.

Also damn???? This is an interesting AU to think about. Clover really playing hitman with the soul here, huh 😭. I’m curious, What’s (UT) Chara’s thoughts on the matter? (Or is this undertale yellow specific, not red and yellow?) And why did the fun gang + Noelle remember if Gaster told clover otherwise??
