Which is the same thing… Who tagged me: mineapostasy (and I just realized I never responded… Because I’m a jerk) This tag is to get to know the person behind the blog better. As with any tagging game there are rules:

What did you want to grow up to be/do when you were a little kid?
At what age? My popular ones were a dancer, marine biologist, professional stage manager, novelist, diplomat, film producer and horse trainer. Do you have a “nerdy” hobbies? What are they? Not sure what qualifies… I used to have hobbies, then I got my job.
Are you allergic to anything? If so: what?
Grass and goldenrod. This made growing up in the country very difficult and working in a horse barn itchy.
Do you prefer modern or classical art? Why? (Feel free to describe the artistic school you choose as either, but back it up!)
Classical. I have periods that I like particularly early renaissance tapestries and religious art, impressionist, 19th century romantic landscapes artists like Turner/Constable/etc., and the Hudson River school. I could go on… I think some of it is the color and the symbolism in all those periods even if the perspective was off, or the outlines blurred, or the setting exaggerated. It is just innately appealing to me.
What are your top-5, desert-island albums… GO!
There will be much judging here: 10th Anniversary Concert of Les Mis (my first CD), Ella Fitzgerald Greatest Hits, Flogging Molly Live at the Greek Theatre, Tiesto Kaleidoscope (for the solo dance parties), Florence and The Machine Ceremonials.
Name one place you’ve always wanted to visit, but haven’t yet been able to do so.
Ireland! Every time I try to get there the timing does not work out…
Do you have a best friend, or several very close ones?
This is a tougher question than it sounds…
What’s your favourite mode of transportation? This can be general or painfully specific.
Wood sailing ship (taller the better), other boats but not cruise ship sized, my feet, horseback, train, plane, car… I’m a fan of transportation.

Tough, but I think 9. He had the joy and the rage, and his pissed of face could freeze you in your tracks. It was great to see him grow and soften with Rose and I would really loved to have seen him a bit more (how he would have handled the angels especially).
You’re walking through a bazaar in a small mediterranean city. At one merchant’s table you see three items: a lamp that seems to move occasionally, a sword engraved with characters that glitter even though there’s no sunlight shining directly on it, and a leather-bound book, the title of which is in a language and script you’ve never seen, but looks tremendously familiar. All three items are immeasurably old, but in good condition. You have enough money for one. Which one do you choose?
I’m a sucker so the book. Having dealt with a genie before (ask me about the tunnels under Istanbul sometime, I barely escaped with my soul) I know better than to touch unsuspecting looking objects that seem to move on their own. I would not trade my trusty sword for another as it has seen me through many difficult situations and enchanted weapons can be fickle and turn on you when you need them most (I still have the scar). So it is the book, which let’s not lie is potentially the most dangerous of all. It could be full of dark magic, ancient wisdom, it really fantastic cookie recipes…
