The sketch and lineart was done in August but then the school semester hit me and I had to put this piece on hold for 4 months. Same with her sister Morana, who I’ll finish in the next couple of days! This was originally for chance.doodle’s contest on deviantart, but school rammed me like a truck.

The original reference from @chance.doodles had her cape, the open skirt more silver/purple, but to me, I saw hints of pink, so that’s what I used. The flowers, some weren’t from the original pucture, so I just kind of winged it, such as the yellow roses. For Morana’s container, the reference had it as a more dark purple/blue, I honestly hope I did her justice. Her hair was a lot of fun to do!!! The slight purple, the blues, it was a lot of fun!

The outline is purple to represent Morana, who I’ll be using a pink or maybe light purple (lilac-ish) to represent Rosaline. I was originally going to do a Yin-Yang thing for them both, Rosaline representing Yang, but then I realized I had no space! XD LOL

Interestingly enough, I love intricate and semi-difficult pieces like Rosaline, there’s something about doing small pieces that makes me happy to be an artist!
