“Cloverfield” Sequel in the Works
The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot are working on a sequel to 2008′s Cloverfield. The sequel will reportedly not be a “found footage” film. Joe Barton is writing the script. J.J. Abrams and Hannah Minghella of Bad Robot are producing.
Cloverfield followed a group of New Yorkers trying to escape the city during a monster attack.

10 Years ago, the Monster that revitalized the Shaky Cam Industry and gave us TJ Miller, entered the lives of everyone.
Now we find out why. A Space Station tries to find a solution to Earths energy crisis but inadvertently crosses over into another universe.
Or we get an answer in the gize of an interesting premise that squanders its opportunities by faking science to establish and connect to 2 more well done films in order to establish an Anthology universe.
This was a mess, even more so by Paramount who knew that this couldn’t be salvaged in theaters. So Netflix picked it up and rapidly assembled something...
That was found by anyone who was on Netflix the moment Tom Brady’s final pass was dropped by Gronk in Super Bowl LII. A very interesting way to promote a movie, via a super bowl commercial. But one that on all counts shouldn’t even have seen the light of day.
Overlord was lucky it took out its references to save itself from just as bad a scenario.
Sum 22: The third Cloverfield drops all chances of success via lousy casting and Netflix release. Though Super Bowl Announcement was amazingly well done.

Honestly, The Cloverfield Paradox is a good movie. Sure it’s confusing at parts. But that was a good movie for that part of the franchise as a prequel/sequel.
This movie franchise doesn't get the credit it deserves.. the way the MCU change film the Cloverfield Universe have done the same.. the way they use the real life internet to connect the movies with 5 or 6 fake websites and social media like MySpace, Facebook, Twitter accounts and actually bringing these characters to life into the real world is amazing. if you guys haven't checked out none of their theory pages check em out ASAP it will blow your mind!!

10 Cloverfield Lane Theory
There are fans who believe that Howard, who kidnaps Michelle and kills Emmett in cold blood, is actually not the bad guy in the movie because everything he told Michelle about the outside world being under attack and the need to stay underground for safety is true.
Adding to this theory is the fact that Emmett tells Michelle about Brittany, the girl from his high school who went missing and, somehow, found her way into Howard's bunker.
Michelle, like the audience, assumes that Howard had kidnapped her in some crazy attempt at recreating the family he lost. However, some theorists posit that Emmett is the one who killed Brittany and that's why Howard is so adamant to keep him away from Michelle.
(Another version of this theory from cedean89 on Reddit also sets up the possibility that Emmett made Brittany up, and that it was Megan all along.)

i don’t really believe it ((i may be biased by my Emmchelle ship)) but i still think this is interesting and i had had a theory close to this while watching the movie up until the point when Emmett took the blame for having the scissors and such.
