Yeah, Tumblr’s block system is and always has been big ol’ garbage. I will continue to block them, however--if there’s any kind of way to dampen the amount of interaction I will use it. Most of the few folks I’ve seen, however, seem to be out-of-the-loop when it comes to things like reposting, but it is something to keep an eye on--thank you for the heads up :]

Yo, just know transmed ideology in itself isnt believing someone has to have transitioned or come out to be trans, its just believing you need dysphoria to be trans.

Ya, and believing that dysphoria is essential to being trans is flat out wrong. Not every trans person is dysphoric.

I’ve been told too many times that “transmedicalism is believing that you need dysphoria to be trans uwu”, by transmeds, but an overwhelming amount of transmeds insist that a trans person must adhere to gender presentation and gender roles, and must even transition, to be considered trans.

Not every trans person “cispasses”. Not every trans person can present the way they want. Not every trans person can transition. Not every trans person wants or needs to transition. Not every trans person has dysphoria, or experiences their disconnect as uncomfortable or debilitating. 

You can tell me one hundred times more that “transmeds only believe dysphoria is needed to be trans”, that false belief about dysphoria, and the countless other things you people perpetuate, are harmful to the trans community, especially young trans/questioning people.

Sounds interesting! But I dont have access to a computer atm. I will be able to use one a week later when Im finally home
