It was 6 pm in the institution, and free time had drawn to a close. A generous name for it really - The girls spent most of their free time in the theatre, playing cards or dominoes. Nobody ever saw daylight. Baby had been assigned to floor scrubbing in the hours before lights out. It was dull, monotonous work, but sometimes she valued the solitude of it - Nobody screaming or arguing, no orderlies breathing down her neck.

      Her daydreams were disturbed by a bang that resonated through the corridor. Baby knew that sound, it was the sound of the main institution doors banging shut. It was a sound that refused to be forgotten. There was the noise of people talking, footsteps. Baby hurriedly plunged her brush back into the bucket and tried her best to look busy. Three people were walking up the corridor toward her. She kept her gaze downward but she could make out that two of them were police officers and they were on either side of a shorter individual. Baby scrubbed diligently as they passed and Baby chanced a look up ; She saw a girl, dark hair and big eyes. Her wrists were handcuffed and her ankles were...shackled? 

      As they passed Baby glanced at their backs, their footprints leaving a slight trail on her freshly scrubbed floor. She'd never seen a girl brought in like that...handcuffed and shackled with two police officers. She turned her attention back to her work. News travelled fast in Lennox - no doubt by lights out there would be a buzz about their strange new inmate.

        Weeks before the seventy fourth hunger games. Two of them would be fighting against twenty four other tributes, against their death. And this time, it is to prepare for it. Looking through what they're doing, some, survival skills, weapon practice and target accuracy.         Over the years, a particular knife thrower had caught his attention, with her high percentage of accuracy, Clove. He stopped at his tracks, crossing his arms over his chest, observing her as she threw. "Is that all you got?" He asked, a satisfied smile playing on his lips.

[ oh gosh. -tears- thank you, darling<3 that's so nice. i just want to RP so bad but when i make a new character i have so much muse for and no one joins it's kinda hard. :,( i have a lot of fun on cato tho. that's not the problem. :p ]
