Oml please help I can’t with this color scheme, I’ve never had to literally draw several different portraits of a character trying to decide hair/eye color.
Isn’t it great how he’s so pale that it’s barely even necessarily to use multiply shading for the skin?

This took me all summer (a total of five hours, but I kept getting irritated with it, okay?) and while it looks way better than most of my other work in my opinion, I don’t think I’ll be using this method in the future as it was very... frustrating.

Feel free to roast the original (as well as give constructive criticism to the new one) Also, I may or may not have been too lazy to do more than just neck and above. I don’t know, I was just so happy with what I had that I felt like it might ruin it if I tried. And yes, I know I still suck at hands. At least Cain is holding the goddamn stake right this time.
My personal favorite thing about the original is the expressions because. “Hey, uh, so I’m about to do something I’ll regret. That’s lame.” “Oh no! :( this might be bad.” is all that they convey. Look how dead inside they are.
