In my head the rhythmic beat of the song is in time with Rudolphs hammer strikes. He inhales and puts all his strength into each swing, smashing the stake in further each time.

In the raw module Strahd is stated as not fearing an old man with a death wish, but I have always wondered if that would hold true in the event he's paralyzed and at the vampire hunters mercy.

i was rewatching the first episode of the vampire lestat and am really curious about lestat’s comment about “vampire slayer” daniel. is it simply that daniel has had to kill a lot of vampires who came after him due to the book being published?

OR could it possibly be that lots of vampires around daniel (or ones that were known to be hunting him) mysteriously ended up dead and everyone is assuming daniel killed them… but that isn’t the case? could it be that daniel has a (not so) mysterious guardian angel looking out for him?

mikey is a vampire hunter after all... he's catholic and though he's not as religious as he used to be its been engraved into his head what's 'wrong' and 'right'.

maybe i should write him a backstory...
