the clowns on Jerma’s carnival stream have really opened my eyes to the truth of clownery. i have never before seen an actual clown performance in earnest.  they are so kind. trying only to entertain. it is truly a failure of our culture that we have turned them into an abstract horror. and this trend of using clown to denote people with bad opinions? we can do better

full offence but i am SICK of self-appointed experts telling us all about how “cruel” it is to keep Pierrots in big tops at night while NO attention is paid to the fact that most countries have all but banned humane static trapeze set-ups. FIX THE LEGISLATURE before you go after the only no-kill clown shelters we’ve got!!!
