"I’ve been to Resident Taqueria” ~~I’m cryin’
Get angry and Carrie on - Dallas Voice
I sincerely hope that Annie and Carrie hooked up after the Patti Smith show last night (This blog is already dead & trash so I figure I'd add to the dead trash by sharing my true thoughts)
Lol
I just listened to a podcast in which Annie talks about how she and Carrie wrote a couple of songs together and jokes about recording a 7" and releasing it under some random name so nobody would know it was them. I am pretty sure my brain and my heart and my ovaries exploded simultaneously.
She also went on about how brilliant Carrie is on guitar and when they would jam she would accompany on drums and just be in awe of Carrie’s talent ('she's such a cool, extemporaneous guitar player' were her exact words). I mean I knew the two of them playing music together was a thing that probably happened sometimes, but actually hearing her say that was pure magic. I can not even fathom how fucking epic that would be. I am not okay.
What did Carrie do to Annie, are they no longer dating?
actually annie is probably at fault because annie probably hit carrie’s mailbox while backing out of the driveway one day and carrie never forgave her and then annie egged carrie’s house and stole carrie’s reusable grocery bags and refused to return the floral hat carried loved that annie had hidden months and months ago in her own unused dishwasher back in her nyc apartment.
every time I hear Hysterical Strength by St Vincent instead of hearing: 'Oh, don't hold more than you can stand to carry.' I hear: 'Oh, don't hold more than you can stand to, Carrie.' coincidence?
I really think 2015 will be a great year if I at the year’s end feel I’ve improved as a human being and that I’ve learned more empathy and kindness. I mean, it’s so cliché, but I really just think like those are the things that matter when you’re staring down Dec. 31. It has so little to do with award nominations and accolades. So yeah, the best 2015 is that I’m good to the people that love me. It couldn’t be more cheesy, but I really think it’s true.
