Those who've been following me on various social media platforms for years know that my OCs Keigo and Kira are based on the characters from Clumsy Ninja - a mobile game I adored as a kid. So much, in fact, that it somewhat affected me as an artist.

Now let me ramble about this game for a while.

I first installed this game in February of 2015, along with Plants VS Zombies 2, and I really enjoyed interacting with this cute lil' ninja guy. But when I found out that this game actually has a story and we're training this guy to save his friend, I was so impressed that it even motivated me to create my first actual fanfictional comic with (kind of) structured story.

Yes, those were my drawing skills in 2017. Also, I'm not going to translate this entire spread to English. I'm not even sure if I should upload the whole thing (maybe on Pateron?). After all, I made it when I was 13 (and the prototype version of this comic was made when I was 11), the writing here is obviously very childish and has some absurd moments that can make a lot of people cringe. But I didn't have any social media accounts back then, I made this comic purely for myself and didn't have any problem with discontinuing it near the finale, just because I lost interest. I still remember my teenage self sitting in the living room with this notebook and a single pen. I didn't try to follow the comic book writing rules, I didn’t try to impress anyone. I just had fun. Don't get me wrong, it's important to improve, follow the rules, and listen to others' feedback, but having fun and enjoying what you're doing is the core element of any activity.

P.S. The reason why I stopped playing Clumsy Ninja was a very slow progression. My ninja stuck on level 62 for nearly 10 years 😶
