➤ Percy knew that the skies didn’t belong to him, or any one for that matter, but that didn’t keep him from being... overzealous, to say the least, when he was out on patrol.

➤ He wasn’t even patrolling because he had to. He was too far away from every one else to be any good at it anyway. Percy was patrolling because he was a dedicated champion of justice! He had to remain vigilant for any ne’er-do-wells roaming the countryside, and be prepared when he’d have to intervene in order to save a poor victim of chance.

➤ Some days he was lucky -- he’d find some evildoer picking on some one else, and he’d be able to rescue them from whatever thievery or injury they’d otherwise suffer had he not shown up without issue. Other days, it was just him and Ace, searching for something to do, wasting time he could have spent more time training or doing something else entirely.

➤ Today was looking to be the latter of the two. He supposed that was a good thing, because that meant no one was being taken advantage of. It did, however, leave the wyvern rider more jumpy than he should have been.

➤ For instance, once his eyes caught the sight of another flier -- a sky knight, like his brother -- as close to stationary in the air as one could manage. Were they lost? Or were they Hoshidan? Maybe they were both. Either way, Percy would have to intervene in one way or another, even if it just meant he’d stop being so bored.

➤ « Hey! You there! » he called, pulling back on Ace’s reigns to fly forwards so he didn’t have to yell as much. As he got closer, he found it was a sky knight, but she was definitely female and not as Hoshidan as he expected. « Are you lost? We don’t really see a lot of pegasi in Nohr. »

To my brother-in-arms, Knight-Captain Frederick,

I imagine you already know by now, but Cynthia has left the service of Ylisse. I imagine you’ll be even more disappointed to know that I opened the door for her to leave, and wholly intend to not pursue or make an example of her quote-unquote desertion.

It has been a year after Grima’s defeat, and still, none of the children found any place in our world. They’re lost, stuck in a time they have no right to be in. Silly as you might find the notion, but I agree with them. Ever since Mount Prism, most of them found little reason to remain. Cynthia tried, but it just got worse ever since her mother filed her maternity leave. More and more she felt like leaving Henry and Sumia to their own happiness, and you can literally see the guilt she had for simply being there. You can’t expect me to punish that.

Granted, I only oversaw one of the many children lost to time– but if any of them came up to me with the same issue regarding existence and the placement of which, I’d gladly open the door for them to leave, all the same.

Take that up with me if you must, and I have no qualms with any punishment you see fit to deal.

They’ve helped us attain our peace; I will not stop them from finding their own.

【 ♕ 】 They had only stopped in Ylisse to replenish their supplies, having run low on their way back to the Plegian capitol. It was odd being in there, but it was the only town that they had to stop by. It wasn't too far from the border, and at least Fionn could always run that way if Chrom had found out where she was in Ylisse, if he ever did.

It was supposed to be a quick visit, but something went wrong with the wagons. They became too full and a wheel burst, which rolled off and even took down one of her men. They wouldn't just be stuck there for a few hours now, but presumably a day due to the man needing to be looked at.

So they were at a standstill. Though she didn't mind the scenic village, nor the people in it, she wanted to leave as soon as possible. Plegian's were still viewed as hostile enemies to Ylisse, though Chrom had kindly said the war was over, there were some people who didn't get the memo.

She tried to be as cautious as possible, even telling her men to set up a larger watch than what they normally had. If anybody wandered in to camp, they were to bring them to her immediately and without hesitation.

Who they ended up bringing was a bit of a shock to her. She thought she made a bad impression on his whole family, so seeing familiar snow colored locks nearly made her jump out of her seat. If she knew that this was his village, she wouldn't have stopped here in the first place.
