GROUP ROLE-PLAY LOOKING FOR SERIOUS AND LONG TERM PLAYERS!

SETTING:
clusterfuckShenanigans was born from a true clusterfuck. No topic. No setting. Just a bunch of very excitable roleplayers goofing off hardcore. From that clusterfuck however, came a sort of... suggested storyline that all the regulars happily stick to.
The basic "storyline" of the clusterfuck is a post-game AU, set on a largely unpopulated troll/human planet. Everyone is just trying to pick up their lives and move on, while dealing with timeline/ dimensional shenanigans. Due to the nature of the setting, almost no one knows who is from which timeline, or where anyone from their original party is.
The setting is only slightly complicated. The universe itself was created from the Game being won, and the story takes place on a "new" planet that seems to be a sort of nexus between realities. Due to its placement in the new universe, the planet is affected by all sorts of dimensional anomalies and shenanigans. Timelines, various realities, and the Furthest Ring seem to overlap heavily, here, and the walls between them can be very thin to completely nonexistent in some places. As a result, people from uncountable timelines as well as dream bubbles can pass through and interact with each other with relative ease.
Most of the dimensional rifts scattering the planet are stationary, but there are many that move and shift. This effect can randomly transport people in and out and back again throughout the whole of reality, in both space and time. From an observer's standpoint it may appear as though a person or object had dissipated or faded out of existence completely.
This can come in handy when a person disconnects (permanently, without warning or otherwise)!
As the majority of the play takes place in or around a Lalonde house that seems to have been rifted whole through to the new universe and abandoned there, [url=http://jabberwockyx.tumblr.com/post/15317304036/roses-house-was-very-interesting-to-put]this[/url] is an excellent reference for the house layout, though some modifications have been made by the new residents. The wizard statues and paintings were all removed, and the statues were repurposed into territory-markers through the woods behind and hills surrounding the house. The 20-foot wizard from the front room was given the place of honor, halfway under the waterfall outside. It now serves as an imposing (or just very weird) sentry of sorts. There is a fenced-in garden behind the house, as well as a small flock of vaguely chicken-like birds, a young goat, and a dog roughly the size of a bear which can be found occasionally cavorting around the lawn.
"RULES":
Things can get a bit dark on the Cluster. It is not a place for the easily-offended or faint of heart, but most content and character development is encouraged, and any headcanons/AU variations are welcome! There is no application process for joining--simply jump in. Doubles (or alternates as we call them), genderbends and everything in between is fine. You name it, it's allowed.
What we do have is a simple Common Sense Policy: If you do not think you should do it, then you should not be doing it. Don't do it. Just because there are few explicit rules, doesn't mean you get to act up and irritate everyone else in the chat. If you become a bother you will be silenced.
Please use common sense when picking a character. A talking cucumber or sponge probably won't go over well.
OCs are allowed, but please remember that most people come on MSPARP to play with Homestuck characters, and an OC has to work 3 times as hard for a fraction of the acknowledgment.
Finally, omnipotence is not allowed. Whether you're playing a villain, a 'hero', or your favorite OC, if your actions do not leave room for the choices and agency of other players, you will be warned.
That being said, the cluster is not above the law. This is a place where there may be minors online, so no explicit descriptions of sexual acts are allowed in chat.
