𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒  𝐎𝐅  𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒  𝐊𝐄𝐏𝐓  𝐎𝐍  𝐀  𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋  𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐄 .    even  if  she  could  remember  them  now  it  was  a  control  not  so  easily  reigned  back  in .    shock  alone  had  already  brought  a  thick  frost  over  the  inside  of  her  home .    a  sheet  of  what  looked  like  glass  crept  on  the  floor   &   began  to  make  patterns  on  the  wall .    it  was  all  beginning  to  mirror  the  turmoil  inside  her  mind  quite  well .    a  deep  breath  pulled  chilled  air  into  her  lungs  as  an  attempt  to  calm  herself .   a  knock  at  the  door  is  an  unfortunate  shock .   as  quick  as  she  jumps  around ,  so  does  a  bolt  of  magic  shoot  from  her  to  hit  the  door  just  above  the  knob .          ❛     oh   ---     ❜           crystalized  breath  comes  up  in  front  of  her  as  she  sighs .   there’s  a  tap  every  time  her  feet  hit  the  ice  as  she  comes  to  the  door .           ❛    i’m  coming  just  ---     ❜           it  takes  a  yank  at  the  knob   to  cause  a  crackle  through  the  freeze .   a  second  where  some  of  it  truly  begins  to  break .   a  third   &   the  door  manages  to  break  free   &   she  stumbles  with  it  at  first  but  catches  herself  quick  before  collapsing .   eyes  look  up  to  meet  her  fiancee .   relief  to  see  her  hits  her  hard  with  a  nervous  chuckle .          ❛     lara   ...   um .    you  may  need  a  jacket .     ❜

any of the books that he was interested in reading he didn’t want to check out at the library because he knew his boss would look at him in such a weird judgy way. you think he’d be used to it by now, everyone always looked at him like the biggest nerd or weirdo -- like he was the only one walking the planet.  

sam sighed and reached for his bangs, pushing them out of his face.

he must’ve searched the store twice by the time he came back around to the mythology and lore section. he’d originally come into the bookstore for a certain required reading he needed for one of his classes. that book was now tucked under his arm as he fished around a section that fell more under a hobby than anything required law classroom reading.

as much as geralt didn’t want to admit it, things really had changed and the sharp inhale that came from him was only exaggerated upon by the one who he’d spent so long believing - knowing  - was his daughter walking into the living room of their home. “cirilla,” geralt started and then hesitated - pausing and wondering what it was he would say to her. did she remember these strange new memories as well? or was this something else, something different?  “have things... are you ready for school?”

“You might want to mind where you step.” After a second person accidentally stepped in one of the pans of paint on account of not watching where they were going, Steve had his attention split between getting his job done and being an extra set of eyes for everyone. “As you can tell by the footprints on the sidewalk, there’s a couple people around here with some one-of-a-kind shoes now.”
