Chasing Life Appreciation Week ↳Day 7: Leo Hendrie Appreciation Alright, so I've said this numerous times already, and I've written quite a few posts about it, but Leo is such an important character to this show! The show is called chasing life, and other than papa carvers manuscript of the same name, that is the first clue that the main moral of the show is to live life, dare I say, chase life. They want to make it a fact to show that life is short and anything can happen to anyone, so don't waste time with your life. Live it to the fullest. It's super cliche but super important. And this is what Leo personified his entire time on the show. He made sure not only he lived his life knowing it had the strong possibility of being short, but he made sure everyone he met was happy and had at least one last wish fulfilled. He was the adult make a wish foundation for anyone with cancer in the Boston area. And then he met April and his final wish came true. He finally learned what love was, real love, and he married her. Now on to the sad part, but the crucial part. I believe his death was a necessary part of the show and only made his time on the show that much more important. Leo was healthy. He beat his cancer, he went through his surgery and survived a 4 month coma. He beat all the odds against him. But sometimes not even that matters to death. You can be the healthiest person alive and die at any moment, and I think that's what the writers wanted to show with Leo. Leo even knew it himself that beating cancer and a coma didn't mean he'd beat death forever. But he didn't let that stop him. He continued to live the best life he could, every day. And he got April, the girl who didn't know how to live in the moment, to do the same. He planned a future with her, convincing her to not let the fear of death stop her. So while it's completely devastating to see Leo gone and see April have to go through all of this, I trust the writers of the show 100% and I agree with the path they went down. Though I think it'd be completely awesome if it was all a nightmare and Leo woke up next to April and they both lived to see the day where they're in rocking chairs looking back on their long happy lives.

Day 5: Cast Appreciation Day
I appreciate the cast of Chasing Life SO MUCH. Love ‘em. All of them.
So I really wanted to remake the title sequence featuring Leo/Scott for clweek but I couldn't find a video with him at least waving at a camera and now I'm camping and don't have wifi so idk what I'm doing for tomorrow for Leo..

Worrying about the future is not living. Today…we lived. This is living.
