i need you to talk abt arnie's world....hmm ig specifically i know they're human, but are people more human than others? not even sure if you've stated....and also what are your favorite aspects of their world you feel like you haven't spoken about or probably wouldn't be able to expand on once you publish?

I would say that biologically speaking everyone is just as human as each other, however physically speaking there are definitely some people who more closely resemble humans than others. EX: mammals would be more human looking than say, a squid. This actually leads into an aspect of my world building that I feel like I wouldn't be able to expand on much (as I currently planed things): fascist beauty standards.

I was thinking that there is a section of the population that believes that primate features are the most beautiful, that primate factors are more human and therefore better than others. Of course, this is not a popular opinion in AATW, as primates make a small portion of animal species, invertebrates factors outnumber primates, however people who hold these beliefs were very powerful before the bloom convergence, and cling to these kinds of beliefs as a weird way of clinging onto weird form of white supremacy where racial appearances have become ambiguous by default.

expansion of this "hierarchy" will raise mammals above that of non mammals...

I would consider these kinds of attitudes to not be a replacement of racial discrimination or xenophobia, but is its own unique form of social division which is informed by race and gender in a similar manner that gender can be informed by race (iykwim).

Arnie never encounters these types, though they are viewed as untrustworthy for being an afrolatino snake (literal) this is more of a "i read Aesop's fables" discrimination than a mammal supremacy thing.

I don't believe Lumberton nor the Big City have primates in them so I feel like this specific strain of fascism is not in Arnie's home region. However, there very much is a fascist group that they do get involved in. But this fascist group is born of idolization of the United States (a country that is thoroughly destroyed in the context of AATW, and also viewed in a generally negative light due to the bloom convergence forcing people to be confronted by the victims of american imperialism, suck my dick USA) and is run by someone who also slobers over thinking of imperial japan (suck my dick japan).

finally an excuse to post my paw thoughts. NOT INCLUDING SKYCLAN bc i feel like the. current skyclan wld have Incredibly Varied paws.

ANYWAY: windclan cats have small, flat, wide paws! they help them with silence on the moor and mimic rabbit feet

thunderclan cats have tall toes but overall their paws are smaller. like windclan they’re lightfooted to favor silence thru the woods!

riverclan cats have Huge and fluffy toes. the weight of their paws helps when fishing and the fur keeps em warm

shadowclan have flatter toes than thunder, but still thicker than wind. sort a good in between to keep them from sinking into muddy terrain!
