      A ( n e r v o u s ) chuckle escapes his lips when he felt the others piercing eyes on his back - oh goodness. It looks like he hadn’t escaped in time.

      “Now, Drakon, before you scold me... I feel like I should have the right to explain myself.”

       I mean, explaining why he was half-outside of one of his W I N D O W S, especially one one of the nights before a big meeting with JAFAR and the rest of the administrators. . . might be a difficult task. But, he was at least willing to T R Y . . .

    He’s delicate with her hands encasing them within his own, she can feel the worry in his lavender gaze.  Could she explain this dreaded feeling in the pit of her stomach, something was going to go wrong - instincts told her that.  Would something happen to him whilst he was away, overseeing the construction of the NEW Hope’s Peak Academy ?

    She smiles at him, squeezes his hands gently.  “ I’m going to miss you,” Yukizome confesses quietly, blinking back the tears threatening to fall.  “ Are you sure you don’t need me to help you ?”

How could I ever~! ❜  She grinned teasingly, though there was the hint of a pout forming as she tilted her head up to look at him. ❛ Do I need to have a reason? ❜ She hummed at that, contemplating which answer would sound the most satisfactory. Truthfully, it was a bit of both; she was always the type to seek out affection whenever she was bored and when she felt like she had been wrongfully deprived of her daily cuddles!

At this point though, her greetings indeed may as well have been her hugs. At least, only those who accepted them without much protest would get them... she’s still working on the rest. ❛ Well, I’m not gonna tell! It’s a secret. But you can’t escape me now! ❜ She huffed, tightening her grip around him for emphasis. Well, not that he seemed keen on leaving anytime soon. He had plenty of time to do that before her approach if he wanted, which one made the young priestess’ grin spread even wider.

Hmm, now that she captured the Brave of Light though... what could she do? Asking him to get food with her was pretty much second-nature... he would probably expect that request. Isanami wanted to try and surprise Saizou... let’s see! ❛ Saizou, let’s go... uhh... crayfishing! ❜

"Here you go. A cup of fresh hot but strong coffee, oh and today's newspaper, and of course, a plate of sugary cookies that I decided to make, so if you want one, then go ahead and try one." As Hakkai said that, he placed these items on the table for Sanzo, though he placed the plate in the middle before taking one cookie for himself. "Best to have one now before Goku eats them all. Haha." He chuckles and smiles before taking a bite. Mm. Delicious.

      “I think you’ll find that this trip will go much s m o o t h e r for both of us if you stop trying to escape all of the binds I’ve given you. I’ve set you up like that for a reason. Just because you can escape doesn’t mean it’s beneficial for you to do so.”

      Nobuyuki starts as he finally settles in for the night - an exhausted expression on his features. Golden eyes lack-luster and almost a little sad. . . it was always exhausting for him to have to deal with whatever crazy his brother had caused. "Talk me out of killing my brother. Please." 

      Or at least give him a few good reasons not to. Because right now, he was wondering if he could get away with it. . .

       “Eh? What am I doing? You can’t tell?”

       The smaller youths voice was lilting playfully – a question almost asked in a mocking tone. He was HUGGING the other. Well – perhaps that wasn’t entirely true. He was also preventing him from moving. And checking him a little to see if he had anything suspicious under his clothing by hugging him.

       Perhaps it was . . . Unusual. And he wasn’t going to exactly give it away. But? When he’d seen the other heading towards the LIBRARY at such an odd hour? He’d been at least vaguely concerned that the other might have something planned – like? SETTING UP A TRAP / Preparing for a M U R D E R. && ?? He’d decided to intervene. . . Just in c a s e. ( SHUICHI definitely seemed like the type who, if caught, would never ever try something again out of embarrassment. So? This was . . . a precautionary measure. ) Though: Unwarranted, apparently. “I’m hugging you~ I was just so excited to have another nerd friend around here! I thought I was the only one who likes books! Reading is like, the only thing I like to do – like ever! They’re so good!” Sorta true. Books could be fun for ideas – especially because he liked elaborate stories, traps, and trick endings. But? Sorta a lie. He didn’t have a lot of t i m e to read. “Why does anyone do anything but read, amirite?!”

       However – with that, he flip-switched a little: allowing his excited face to fall and switching to an almost innocent stare, as he released the other. Content in his examination of the other - he didn’t appear to have anything hidden on him . . .

       Looking almost a little confused by the others question. “Oh? . . . Do I need a better reason to hug you?” He asks, allowing just the slightest hint of disappointment to play at his tone. “Oh! I get it! You came here to be alone, right?” Cue head tilt. “. . . were you coming to read t h o s e types of books?”

       Do you know who is fully intent on making this encounter as p a i n f u l l y uncomfortable for the detective as possible? This guy.

       “Well, well~ We really need to stop meeting like this, detective!”

        The voice is cheerfully spoken, calling across the dimly lit halls of the museum. The lights were all off, aside from some of the display lights that gave a gentle glow on the objects in their case. If the other was here, that must mean he’d already found the “PHANTOM’s” calling card - left in the case of the object he now held tucked under his arm.

        The object was a “GLASS BUTTERFLY,” a symbol of peace built from the remains of stain-glass windows - a project that had stirred some . . . harsher feelings. After all: Someone had technically looted some destroyed churches to make it.

       But? That wasn’t why he was here. Instead, he’d decided to steal it to keep the illusion of it being a SYMBOL of PEACE - looking into the artist had revealed a history of violence. And some tests pulled by some of his team had shown that the other had infused a harmful substance into the glass, when they’d been melting it down to create this. It was better for it to disappear, meaning p e a c e then to be discovered as something of a (T R O J A N ‘ H O R S E).

       “Though, I think you’ll find that if you wanna catch me~ You’re gonna have to shoot. If not, I’mma just . . .” He starts, looking out the window he’d already had a member of DICE jimmy open for him. “Let myself out.”

       He wouldn’t rush - however. He was buying for time - it appeared? His GET-AWAY car was a little late today. Not that it surprised him. D I C E was a bunch of dependable nerds . . . but? They also had strong opinions, and he was beginning to wonder whether or not he’d assigned a driver. . .

       In his MASK, as the PHANTOM THIEF, he was known as: “JESTER” - the leader of DICE. So far? His true name was hidden, even now, but? This young DETECTIVE really was catching him faster and faster . . . He was clever. There was no denying that. But? Kokichi was no quitter. “Though, I suppose if you do shoot. . . I could become startled.” He continues, holding the box out a little - so that it, at least, was outside of the window.
