I admit to my mind glazing over watching tvN CM these past episodes, reverting to purely watching it for LJG's face. His face can make me watch anything (I watched RE for him!1!!), though that doesn't keep me from skipping scenes he's not in. ʅ(ツ)ʃ Anyways, I hope he gets some rest now. Meanwhile, I'll be praying for his next project - hopefully, he lands one with good writers. Though I personally don't want him to take the film route... career-wise, I do hope he perhaps takes on a solid domestic movie next, something that will revitalize his popularity a la GY. Note: The reason I don't particularly want him to do movies is only because it takes months to film and the wait is even longer to see anything if you're an international fan. Then it's done in one go as opposed to a drama, where we can look forward to seeing him weekly. (And I want to see his face, okay.) P.S. My wifi is being wonky and is currently at 2-3mbps. Kill me now.

Poor Lee Han... most of his great character-defining moments from the original seem to always be given away to everyone else. :/ What does the writer have against Reid? Like...? >.>;;

I hope they include extended scenes on the tvN CM DVD when it comes out (if this is another MLSHR situation, I will blow a gasket), because don’t think I didn’t notice scenes like the motorcycle chase were cut down. For the kdrama as a whole, that’s fine. But as a LJG fan, I’m bemoaning the loss of JG handcuffing the criminal in HD, plus the shot of his face after he hands the guy over to his colleagues. (╥﹏╥)

Well, the more people that drop it early on, the less I'll have to see negative posts in the tag? 

There are 20 episodes in total after all, so we still have a ways to go before it ends. lol And I’m not saying the criticism isn’t warranted - it is, unfortunately - but that doesn’t make it any less of a downer to see. I especially feel foolish because I had such faith beforehand, but I didn’t realize just how mediocre the writing would be. I mean, I had problems with the MLSHR writer but at least their take was fresh in the beginning.

Also, to be perfectly honest, one of the main reasons I’m disappointed is because I really wanted LJG to have a hit. He deserves it. And I hate the thought of him blaming himself (as he did with MLSHR) when it’s the other key components that are a mess.

Oh well. I’ll still be watching till the end for LJG. ʅ(ツ)ʃ I just wish the drama would pull itself together.

tvN Criminal Minds PREMIERES TODAY (7/26 @ 22:50 KST)!!! AWW YEAHHH!!!

I’m ready to spam the tag! (I’ll be using #tvn criminal minds and no other variation.) And have only some of my gifs/posts show up in the tag/search b/c Tumblr hates me. :) I’m excited because I was only around for Moon Lovers some time in the early half and onwards, and I didn’t even start participating in posting until towards the end. Before that, I was just lurking with my defunct account (so, since I was so late, that’s why my blog is full of MLSHR stuff I missed out on reblogging during the actual run of the series :P).

Also, a reminder that my blog is NOT spoiler-free. I’ll try and tag the appropriate posts with #spoilers (for those who blacklist), and remove the tag once a certain amount of time has passed.

Anyways, this is the first time I’ll be around from the beginning of a currently airing LJG drama series. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و ﾖｼ!

I’m not sure how busy the tag will get (I’m predicting so-so), but I’ll be reblogging a majority of the visual content (gifs, pics, etc) involving LJG from @fyleejoongi (and only sometimes from here at @krysyuy).

Even though moon lovers left a big gapping hole in my heart I am glad i watched it, for i discovered the perfect man Lee Joon Gi. I can't wait till criminal minds! I'm a huge fan of the American version so that's good & seeing Lee Joon Gi in action is a perfect bonus! Do you know how long it will be? Will it be season's or just 20ish episodes?

Anon! I also discovered the perfection that is Lee Joon Gi through MLSHR. We are kindred spirits. :’)

At the moment, tvN Criminal Minds is slated for 20 episodes. I know there was at least one article way, wayyyyy back that speculated whether or not this could turn into seasons, but I suppose that depends on the success of the drama. We’ll just have to wait and see on that front.

Like you, I’m also a fan of the original show, so LJG isn’t the only thing getting me hyped for this. Only a few weeks left to wait! ;D

You don't have to worry - LJG is one of the leads (aside from MCW), so he's definitely a Very Important character. It's just that he's an original character created for the kdrama, though honestly, from what little we know of Hyun Joon, it sounds like he has elements of Derek anyway. When I thought LJG's character was based on Derek, I had spec that we would get Derek before he became Derek. So this kind of fits with that, except he's an OC, lol. I'm betting what happens is that LJG's character Hyun Joon comes into contact with the NCI team in the first episode to work on a case together. He's probably from the local police, and 1) shows interest in the way the NCI team does things and/or 2) shows an innate talent for profiling (e.g. he's good at reading people, etc). Then by the end of the episode, SHJ's character offers him a spot on their team. Hyun Joon takes the offer and we see him learn and grow as a profiler over the course of the series, as well as see him develop relationships with the team members.
