Hey, so that post you reblogged, with the OP, medaea, there's a lot of red flags there, and on their blog pointing towards them being kinda deep into radfem rhetoric. I know I uncritically reblogged it myself for half a second, so I understand if you missed that kinda stuff, espc without digging. Just wanted to give you a heads up, in case you dont remotely support the context of content like that!

yeah I usually dont dig into people’s blogs when reblogging things but checking it out there are DEFINITELY a lot of red flags and one certain post that didn’t sit well with me

it took me forever to actually watch the show. im not the biggest fan of adventure time, and the first episode looked like adventure time: but with aliens

i was told all these tall tales about all the great lesbian representation and the amazing story and characters

and to be honest, aside from the representation part i wasnt lied to?

like i said in the tags, i believe su has a great story and characters but is absolute shit at telling it

its like, knowing a great joke, and telling your friend, but some parts you overexplain and the punch line you fly by so quickly that it takes ur friend 5 minutes to even realize there was one

it always leaves me emotionally “what” instead of what it clearly is trying to make me feel

oddly enough, a part of me hopes su gets popular enough for a reboot so it can be remade by new people that actually know how to write and pace things

and to have consistent animation and... whats the word... lore? like, what powers do the crystal gems have? its really weird how in some eps they can do some things but in other eps when faced with an obstacle that thing they did in the prior ep would be great but they just.... don’t? why?

like the most annoying was peridot flying away by herself with her weird fingers

amethyst, you can transform into pretty much anything, why not something with wings?

garnet, your rocket fists would be very useful here?

i almost got back into the show when i found out pearl might be actually moving on but, NOPE heres an entire song about how shes never gonna get over rose rip

character development? what is that? no we gotta have pearl continuing to fawn over a fken “dead” straight woman

and i dont even wanna know what happened after the big reveal
