Rose is nerdy and quiet, very reserved and in her own head about everything. Outwardly, she often struggles to make big decisions and prefers to follow louder personalities over forging her own path. Inwardly, she has a strong sense of justice and can make quick judgements. It’s just up in the air whether she steps out of her shell long enough to act on those feelings. Her greatest strength is her ability to get people on her side, she’s a practiced people pleaser. However, her strength becomes a weakness as soon as she faces opposition, she can’t handle not being liked and often doesn’t know how to handle even the possibility someone having negative feelings toward her. Growing up with a loud and outgoing fraternal twin brother***, Rose learned to hang back and compliment the people around her. In many of my stories, Rose grapples with the challenge of being separated either emotionally or physically from her twin for the first time, learning how to operate outside of a codependent unit. While she seems put-together and calm to those outside of her circle, people close to Rose know that she be very dramatic and fatalistic. This comes as a surprise to people getting to know her.

***John William Prichard is the fraternal twin brother of Rose Prichard. He is her opposite in many ways, outgoing and energetic where Rose is calm and reserved. They compliment each other but can also serve as emotional crutches to one-another in ways that hinder character development. John is usually either a theatre student or a working actor depending on his age or place in the story. He enjoys attention and thrives in the spotlight, where his sister would rather slip by unnoticed.
