Panicked and alone vs sleeping peacefully without even trying-minutes to an hour? after her worst nightmare came true to a certain extent (her being scared of the baby being a girl).
I hope this showed Hannah she can lean on Dean figuratively and literally, instead of suffering on her own. I’m so happy Dean got through to her and that she trusted him
One more Archer father/son post because I love them! And I love this sweet scene!🥹
You can see what a difference it made for Hannah to let Dean in on her nightmares and fears. Quite literally night and day

Paralleled with them doing literally everything they can (Hannah coming up with the procedure, Dean taking the risk to continue operating in the dark) to give their patient a chance to meet his baby girl…and it working out in the end.
Just like Dean is trying to show her that can be possible for them, with finding out their baby’s a girl but history not having to repeat itself

Always each other’s main focus
This shot was CRAZY!!!!!
Maybe I’m too biased, but I think from this, we can infer a tiny part of Hannah struggling with this case so much concurrently with her internal struggles not sleeping etc, have a tiny bit to do with knowing she’s not (currently) bringing her baby into a traditional family where the mom and dad are together. Is that also playing on her complicated feelings of her family growing up not being the traditional 2 parent family since her mom passed during Hannah’s birth?
There’s so many layers to this and I’m just dying for them to explicitly explore them soon! Let us in Hannah’s head!!!
