Mitchel: *talking about the DCP and how it's considered "studying abroad".*
Matt: I studied a broad once. She didn't like it much.

👓 #tbt to when I ran into @tyleroakley at work lol this is the 5th time we've bumped into each other at Disneyland so we had to commemorate the moment and we also talked about how my glasses had a chip in them from the time they broke and I superglued them cuz I couldn't get glasses at the time hahaha hoping to save up money to buy a set a frames from Tyler's brand new frames line from @warbyparker but I'll have to wait and see! Always a pleasure talking to you Tyler! And congrats on the launch! #TOxWP #TylerOakley #Disneyland #DisneyBuddies #HyperionTheater #btwHetookthisIDidntCuzIdgetFired #Disney #DatCostumeDoe #CMLyfe #WarbyParker #notanAD
And with that, I am officially done working the 60th anniversary at Disneyland. Never again will I wear this name tag. It's bitter sweet. I've worked for the company for 28 months. 18 of those were the 60th. It'll be really weird to see the diamonds come down and the dazzle go away. Thanks for sixty(-one) amazing years Disneyland. "Disneyland has remained a constant in our lives and I can't imagine my world without it." #CMLyfe#60th#Dazzling#GoodbyeDiamondCelebration
The irony is, he was looking for a pidgey. I was giggling for a good minute.
If you won't do your job, you can't get on my fucking case about not doing mine. Maybe you should watch your damn train as it leaves the station - y'know, like the OG says - instead of talking to the resident "easy" chick. Maybe then you could have station stopped instead of yelling at me that I didn't.
You know it's bad when you have dreams about it.
I just woke up from a dream where my little sister and I were sitting somewhere next to the track of screamin. Let me point out that this part of track doesn't really exist. It looks like zone 9. But I know that it was zone 1. It was flat, the cars were stopped long enough for what happened, there was sand around it, and there were no cameras really to catch it. Why a zone wouldn't have cameras was beyond me. Anyway, so me and my sister are sitting there watching the ride. The first weird thing was that red train stopped right before the loop. Like parallel to zone 7. So I thought uh-oh. There's no way it's making the loop. But somehow it shot off like another launch and made it. But it was going so fast that when it went up to zone 5, it jumped the track a bit. So I started explaining to my little sister about the up stops, pointing to the train in front of us. But then some lady threw her purse off the train into the sand. And then another lady jumped off the train for whatever reason. I told them to get back in the train and they just looked at me funny. Now I know there weren't any cameras in that zone because I ran to Screamin tower and was like "hit the e stop". And someone did. And then they're like WTF. And then I explained the guests out of bounds in zone 1. And then like, it was crazy trying to figure out what to do. But I was off the clock. So I told them I had to go back to my little sister. And that's the story of my dream last night. What the actual fuck?
When you predict an overspeed but your lead doesn't listen and continues to run the ride in the rain anyway. Then have to deal with a bullshit evac and reset in the fucking rain. And people wonder why we don't like our lead team most of the time.
This was smooth as fuck.
Ashley: So Joseph, what's your attraction?
Joseph: [Looks right at me]
Everyone: [Ranging from "ohhhhh"s to "aww"s]
Me: Okay, you need to stop. But damn, I'll give you points for that one.
