Hello! I need your advice. My ex boyfriend wants to remain friends with me and I do too. However, right now I feel like I need to distant myself from him to help me move on and let the past relationship go. He's not in a good place right now though so I don't know what to do. Do I try to move on or be selfless and keep being friends with him? (please tag this with cmrb so I can see it. thank you)

Hi there!

I think you guys need to sit down and talk about how both of you are feeling. It is a good idea for you to go ahead and distant yourself from him, but that is going to hurt him more, which I’m sure you don’t want to do. I think that if you just sit down and talk about it, you both will be able to come to the agreement that it is better for a few weeks to distant yourselves from each other and eventually you two can be friends again. Just have a simple lunch or coffee together and talk it over because if you  both ignore the situation you may not become friends again…

YOUR CHARACTER IS WHAT YOU REALLY ARE WHILE YOUR REPUTATION IS MERELY WHAT OTHERS THINK YOU ARE I am not much of a "very" friendly person, I prefer to have few friends who are real than to have a lot and be faked by each of them - oh yes, i am not everybodys friend. If i cant please you, then i cant please you. It will always remain like that. I dont want to waste my time pleasing someone not worth my time and effort. Its not always WHAT you have in life that makes you happy, its WHO you have that counts... I am blessed with good friends a happy family and i have my one and only LOVE,,my bAbY. it's not that easy to forget someone,.when you had beautiful memories together,.when you had given everything just to make him/her happy,.when you fought for him/her over your parents.,when you sacrificed everything just for him/her.,and when you loved him/her so much & you know he/she didn't do the same thing in return.
