I'm so happy that even despite the shelling and power cuts, I still finished this series. Winx Club always has a special place in my heart so I happy to share my headcanons with ya all💖

Ok, i finaly did it

I was baffled by her design in the reboot, like they purposefuly made her look so silly :(

So, yeah, making her look gorgeous again. I've heavily leaned into her og design. It's too good, i can't help it. But I still changed things up a bit to look new.

For the colors I picked white, red and gold, so she would look like a queen she is.

Being a Winx Club fan must be some form of torture 

First, Nickelodeon starts coproducing the show starting with season 5 and ends up making it aimed at younger audiences when the earlier season were aimed more at teens (to the point where season 7 aired on Nick Jr), which led to the show losing depth as characters became flanderized and stuck being students at the same magic school they graduated from after season 3 (as well as noticeably cheaper animation)

Then some mature, live-action Wattpad fanfic-esque adaptation comes to Netflix that’s basically Winx in name only

Next thing you know, the show gets a reboot people started to somewhat look forward to, with high quality test footage being shown and things looked great

…Only for it to be revealed that the show was being made using AI (as well as the labor of possibly mistreated and underpaid interns), the characters designs looked ugly, the show was being produced more for an American audience instead of the Italian one the show was known for, among other things

The animation looks cheap and unfinished, which is especially noticeable in the action scenes. Miraculous Ladybug, a show that some have given flack for its animation, had no more than a year to change the shows animation, which meant using a new software and remaking models, props and backgrounds from scratch. The studio behind Winx Club had five years.

The reboot tries to present itself as this new thing despite the first few episodes rehashing stuff from season 1 without the pacing, not to mention having the tagline “The Magic is Back”, which sounds like something you would name a continuation or sequel series rather than something with an entirely new and separate continuity
