Tema globale e CreativeMornings për muajin qershor është WILDERNESS, rreth së cilës do të flitet në 224 qytetet në botë, që aplikojnë këtë projekt prej vitit 2008. Në Tiranë kemi ftuar arkitektin dhe kuratorin Valerio Perna, i cili do të ndajë me ne eksperiencën e tij kreative rreth kësaj teme. "Edhe pse sot është shumë e vështirë ta gjesh atë në një formë të pastër në mjedisin urban bashkëkohor, nga këndvështrimi im personal dhe profesional, koncepti WILDERNESS është një ide e fortë, që mund të merret parasysh kur bëhet fjalë për nxitjen e dizajnit inovativ dhe proçeseve krijuese. Mes shumë përshkrimeve të tij, më pëlqen ai që e kategorizon atë si sistemin e zonave të braktisura dhe të neglizhuara në mjedisin tonë urban, sepse na jep mundësinë, si arkitektë dhe krijues të rinj, t'i shohim ato si materiale të mundshme projektimi për të ardhmen e qyteteve tona.” Valerio Perna (Romë, 1988) është arkitekt dhe PhD në “Arkitekturë – Teori dhe Dizajn” diplomuar në Universitetin Sapienza të Romës. Gjatë kësaj periudhe, ai ka qenë Studiues i Ftuar në AUAS Amsterdam dhe ka dhënë mësim në disa universitete në Iran, Suedi dhe Shqipëri. Aktualisht është i punësuar në Universitetin POLIS, ku është koordinator i INNOVATION_Factory (IF) dhe Drejtues i Qendrës Kërkimore në Arkitekturë, Inxhinieri dhe Dizajn. June’s Theme is Wilderness. We travel to the edges of our known world — to wander, to lose ourselves, to commune with the wilderness. Dappled light dripping in through the forest canopy, insects buzzing as feet squelch through wetlands, inhaling the hot dry air and endless skies of desert, we long for this. Some of us seek enchantment and estrangement here. Some of us call it home. June’s Theme is Wilderness.

We travel to the edges of our known world — to wander, to lose ourselves, to commune with the wilderness. Dappled light dripping in through the forest canopy, insects buzzing as feet squelch through wetlands, inhaling the hot dry air and endless skies of desert, we long for this. Some of us seek enchantment and estrangement here. Some of us call it home.

We do not exist apart or separate from the wild. In her meditation on trees, poet Grace Paley writes, “we are like any greengrowing machinery / riding the daylight route / into darkness.” The wilderness lives within all of us, the rhythms of our bodies tethering us to the natural world.

Junio es de Wilderness/Silvestre

Junio es de Wilderness/Silvestre Viajamos a los límites de nuestro mundo conocido para deambular, para perdernos y estar en comunión con la naturaleza. La luz que entra a través del bosque. El zumbido de los insectos mientras los pies se deslizan por los humedales. La inhalación del aire caliente y seco. Los cielos interminables del desierto: todo esto es lo que anhelamos. Algunos buscamos aquí el encanto y el extrañamiento. Algunos lo llamamos hogar.

No existimos al margen ni separados de la naturaleza. En su meditación sobre los árboles, la poeta Grace Paley escribe: "somos como cualquier maquinaria que crece verde/ que recorre la ruta de la luz del día/ hacia la oscuridad". Lo salvaje vive dentro de todos nosotros, los ritmos de nuestros cuerpos nos atan al mundo natural.
