"can you hold the knife properly? you will chop your finger off." miyeon is already reaching over to fix the way yujin was holding the stupid knife and carrot. they were supposed to be making stew, but he was taking it not as seriously as he hsould and she didn't wantto really face the wrath of the rest of the students being left hungry. she can't say she didn't enjoy yujin's company, she is doing her very best to not goof around too much because she was also getting hungry and they were up to nowhere with the veggies.

"i'm gonna make you chopt he onions if you keep this up you know." she pouts at him, glances over at him as well before turning back to the potatoes she was peeling over the bin. she can't help but smile soon after that, somewhat minding her own business, somewhat keeping an eye on yujin to see if he was still doing as he was told. but what is miyeon if not an annoying little sister at heart? yes, that showed a lot more than she would admit

"that piece is too big." she points out, reaching over to pinpoint one piece of carot yujin had cut. it wasn't a horrible, the difference was barely there and miyeon was sure she would strike a nerve soon enough, but she still looks at her friend, big sheepish smile on her lips as she waits for a reaction.

spooky friday present, day 1 - friday am event starter for heo yujin (@cmyujink)

it might’ve been too early for some but hera is wide awake as she watches the rest of the students board the bus from her window seat. she picks a seat somewhere in the middle, where it hopefully doesn’t get too rowdy nor too quiet.

by the time she’s settles in her seat, pulling out a pack of banana chips to share with her seat mate, yujin already has his phone out with a list of movies to choose from. she is relieved as soon as yujin sat beside her. not that she wouldn’t be happy with a stranger really, but at least she would be fully comfortable for however long the ride is to the campgrounds.

hera made a promise to herself this semester and that is to show up, no matter what, to be just one of the students in the university’s roster and not the actress, song hera.

“please tell me we’re watching a romcom,” she says, scrolling through their selection. and while there were a few romance movies on the list, comedy too— none caught hera’s eyes until she gets to the horror genre. she contemplates it a bit, looking at the choices she has. slasher films, paranormal ones— ones about being stuck in a campground with a killer on the loose?

she turns to yujin, her smile slow and knowing. hera gestures to the screen. “…should we?”

"it wasn't my fault," says the guy who is entirely at fault.

let's get the facts straight: sure, it was technically lucas's turn to watch over the cat him and yujin have shared custody over ( ... and subsequently smuggled into camp because lucas couldn't find a last-minute cat-sitter ). and sure, he technically left the door ajar when he went to take a piss. but he was only gone for two minutes, and he didn't want to be fussed with keys. besides, yujin was in their room anyway. so. this was partially on him.

"how was i supposed to know that he could paw the door open? he's never done anything like that when he's with me." lucas smacks some branches out of his face as he makes his way through the thicket of the campground's wooded area. if howl is out here, he's definitely ... waiting to be found! ha ha! lucas is not thinking of any alternatives, thank you very much.

"cats aren't supposed to be that strong anyway." he glances over his shoulder at yujin. "what have you been feeding him?" accusatory, as if lucas isn't entirely responsible for all the wet food.
