昨天我跟朋友去看火车。知道museum是博物馆，所以可以叫这（个？）地方火车博物馆吗？然后我们去看花。不是一（个？？）店，博物馆差不多。如果免费书的地方是图书馆，免费花的地方可以叫…图花馆（<-知道这写错了）

went to a train museum yesterday and a botanical garden, it was fun. I need to look up the measure word for buildings… botanical garden is 植物园/zhíwùyuán, measure word for house/building is 栋/dòng (mtl says 个 for museum check with dad), 個 for garden but not for botanical garden (个/個 difference? inexplicable traditional?)

#cn study #I’ve tried to be like ‘let’s practice together’ with specific friends and I don’t think it’s actually helpful the way I did it before #bc I want to talk to my friends abt a lot of stuff outside what I’m capable of expressing in cn #but talking to myself in a way where ppl can reply or not at least gets my foot in the door and keeps it on my mind #so the interaction piece is a very nice bonus but isn’t the whole point #which is kind of interesting because in almost every other capacity it’s easier to be motivated if I anchor to other ppl #yknow the external motivation piece #I don’t think this way is necessarily good for *learning* cn but it at least maintains it/refreshes what I might’ve forgotten #so I do need to also think abt a way to actually learn. like actually building fluency rather than keeping to random hodgepodge.
