Certainly intriguing.
Did I like it as much as akane banashi's opening chapter? No, but it was still a pretty good opening chapter imo.
Didn't expect the two MC's of ch 1 to literally meet, fall in love, get married and have a kid. IN THE VERY FIRST CHAPTER. Overall I thought they packed a pretty good love story into a single chapter. Had a tragic end tho :(.
I'm wondering if we could possibly get a bait and switch with the main protagonist though??? Like, are we going to continue following Reisuke's story or are we going to get a big time jump to when their kid has grown and they become the main character instead? Bc one of the only gripes I have about this chapter is that it felt very...prologue-y. idk.
despite it being an origin story it didn't really give off "beginning of adventure" vibes, ya know what I mean???
