I know I’ve been dead quiet, I’m at a wildlife internship so my days are full of animals and my nights are me tryin to catch up on sleep. But right now I have this thought I hope you guys will like!!

Imagine in a modern AU pls Jacob, Evie, Ezio, Arno or whomever is your favorite texting you. It’s early in your relationship so you both get that fluttery feeling just hearing your phone chirp.

BUT

What they don’t know is that you’re balls to the wall busy. You meant to send them a text letting them know but maybe service sucks or (which happens to me) you missed the send button and you didn’t notice.

So they spend all day worried about you and wondering if you’re still into them when they decide to go see you. Maybe it’s your office, your lab, or some place you frequent. Whatever it is you are desperate to get to your phone and see what heart warming messages your S/O sent while you were so busy.

By the time you pick up your phone, someone knocks on your door. Trying not to be mean you groan and ask them to come in. In walks your fave assassin with puppy dog eyes and you don’t even know why but you cross the room and leap into their arms. They’d been on your mind all day, you were hoping to come back to a series of texts about their morning and it was going to fuel you to finish the rest of the day.

You ask them why they’re visiting and hilarity ensues when they explain what happened and you get flustered at your failed attempt to communicate, but it’s okay!! It all turned out well in the end.
