Dead Space Alt!Universe Profile

» The following is the general information for Sen7inel as she appears in the Dead Space Universe. Anything not specifically mentioned will echo that of her main profile, with adjustments made as needed to fit in the universe.

Dead Space 1:

Sen7inel got caught with her hand in CEC's network. Standard corporate raid — credential dumps, schematics, executive dirt. Except buried in the take was a cluster of flagged communications she didn't ask for: scrubbed colony reports, redirected funding, and references to something called "Marker research" that didn't parse against anything in her experience. She archived it and moved on to the payday.

CEC traced the breach. Rather than prosecute — which would risk those files surfacing in discovery — they offered a deal fitting for her skillset: contracted systems technician, restricted access, monitored movement. Months of cable-jockey scut work beneath her skillset, wearing a stock CEC engineering RIG she's been explicitly forbidden from modifying. No custom scripts. No unauthorized tools. A muzzle dressed up as a uniform.

The Kellion assignment was sold as routine. The USG Ishimura's communications are dark — probably a network-side failure. CEC wants a systems tech on board alongside the engineering team. What they didn't tell her is that the files she touched originated from that ship. Easier to keep a liability contained in deep space than on a planet with outbound connections.

#~: Gear:

A stock CEC engineering RIG - no modifications save for green lighting.

A plasma splicer – primary work tool, used for cutting into sealed panels, splicing hardened cables, and welding circuit connections during systems work. Adjustable plasma arc. The size of a large utility knife.

A diagnostic deck – a ruggedized tablet used for system troubleshooting when the RIG’s interface isn’t enough. Requires a hardwired connection.

A base kinesis module – used as part of her systems work to move debris, panels, heavy cables, etc.

Standard systems kit – cable ties, solder pen, multitool, magnetic clamps, some encrypted data cores CEC thinks are empty (they’re not).

The Boys Crossover Profile

Background adjustments: sen7inel’s age may be adjusted to fit the timeframe of interaction. would consider shepherd’s flame having connections to vought’s behavioral research division. father charles as a former vought neuroscientist might fit some plots. open to church of the collective parallels as well.

#~: Setup:

Vought is exactly the kind of monolith Sen7inel was built to bite down on. A corpo giant wrapped in red, white, and blue, monetizing manufactured saviors while burying the bodies they leave behind. Even she can’t ignore those conspiracy theories. Every layer of the company is an information goldmine, packed with quick-to-sell above asking price data she’d gladly steal. The Coyote has watched from the edges of the company for years waiting patiently for the right moment to strike. She’s not afraid to pull quiet jobs against Vought subsidiaries, harvests data from contractors and scrubbed servers, and runs rumors through the Den that has gotten at least one mid-tier manager quietly retired.

She doesn’t care if someone has powers or not. She cares what they do — what anyone does — with the world they’re participating in. A supe keeping their head down, or trying to fix something? Not her problem. Might even be a useful contact. A supe collecting Vought paychecks and signing off on collateral damage reports? Same threat level as the suit who wrote the report.

#~: AU; The Technopath [ Variant ]

Set in her technopath alt!universe, the ties between her and Vought are more direct. Sen7inel is a supe. Quiet about it, off Vought’s radar, but a supe nonetheless. A Vought-funded behavioral research arm came to work with Father Charles, dosing kids with Compound V alongside his usual conditioning protocols. They traded funding for his private research with detailed results of the compounds effects. What sparked in her was the ability to talk directly to digit systems. At first she had to touch them, but with time, she learned how to do it without. Her record was never formally filed with Vought due to her escape from Charles’ institution shortly after. She survived using her powers to pull money from ATMs, take on tech-related jobs (and quickly becoming one of the best), and blackmail or extort with incredible accuracy. She still encounters Irina — but Irina’s attempt to bring Sen7inel back to Russia with her is heavily motivated by her powers.

Her hatred of Vought runs deep. They made her — or paid the people who did — and turned her into numbers on a piece of paper. Every job she pulls against them now is a collection on a debt she never asked to be owed. Her ability makes her uniquely suited to attack infrastructure: surveillance grids, internal comms, internal servers, security systems, etc. She doesn’t broadcast what she can do. She just charges what exceptionally good hacker would with a high price tag.
